The best way to clean things up is to penalize eaters liberally for their debris, maybe triple the actual amount, so that an eater like Juliet is denied a qualifying victory and has to go back out on the road and invest more of her time and money to qualify. Send a strong message, and people will change their behavior. But keep the contest safe by allowing us to use as much liquid as we please and as we need.
